A night of poetry & performance unlike anything else in Melbourne, in support of Elizabeth Morgan House.
Impossible Machine sees a cast of improvisers respond to the work of a featured poet – poems they've never heard before – to create a performance that's completely new and never to be repeated.
Our poet on Friday July 9 is Harry Reid. Harry is a poet from Melbourne's west. They're a co-director of sick leave, and the author of 'the best way to destroy an enemy is to make him a friend' (Puncher & Wattman, 2020).
Tickets: $15 waged, $8 unwaged/concession.
Book here: No tickets at the door. 8pm start with a brief intermission.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Elizabeth Morgan House, an an Aboriginal community controlled organisation that provides refuge accommodation and specialist family violence services to Aboriginal women and their children.
